"I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect. Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be organized; nor should any organization be formed to lead or to coerce people along any particular path. You must climb towards the Truth. It cannot be 'stepped down' or organized for you." - author: Jiddu Krishnamurthi

The human mind as I see it...

For the sake of comprehension I wish to point out these definitions as I understand and use them:

The brain : is the physical entity which is the organ.
The human mind : is the non physical entity which processes ideas and thoughts.

The human brain, the object of our existence, the human mind the me. I've always been fascinated by the capabilities of the brain. Such a small organ but such a large creation, projections of the ideas of the mind. Just having a look at all the things that man has created during the past hundreds of years would give us an idea of its strengh. The human mind has also caused a lot of destruction, everywhere. Not a single place on earth has not known violence as we know it. So it would be fair enough to say that the human mind is at the base of everything that we know and learn as humans.

If we look at it closely, the human mind seems to be something really disctinct. Let's imagine for instance the brain as being a separate entity from the body, something that has been implanted into our body by aliens or whatever thing you want; not that i'm into such ideas though I believe that aliens may exist but not as we may believe it to be, after all aren't they like the neighbour next door after all. Returning to the real subject of this article. The mind, which is the non physical aspect of the brain, shelters itself in the body and use the latter to protect itself. Its main fear is to die, to cease to exist. Thus by reflex, when it feels danger it urges the body to protect the skull, thus protecting it. The human mind does everything in its advantage. It's main preoccupation is to survive at any cost, it therefore fears when its host is damaged or hurt since this would put its existence at risk.

So my perception of it is that: the human mind is like a separate entity, using the human body as a host that allows it to survive. Protecting the host ensures its survival and continuity in existence. No human mind is ready to die. If it could, the mind would swapped bodies to be able to continue to exist or perform better, just to be. The mind is everything that we are, we are the mind and we protect ourselves as much as we can and we use our body to survive. The survival of the human mind ensures the survival of the human race...
